USPS AIR FREIGHT UPDATE - SEPT 5TH
September 5 The Post Office has not yet determined the times that shipments must be to the airport to catch the night sort flights. However, they did indicate that FedEx will be taking USPS Express mail so if your shipments leave your local post office on the early Express Mail truck, they should make the flights for the night sorting in Memphis. USPS AIR FREIGHT UPDATE
The US Postal Service (USPS) has used FedEx to carry the vast majority of lives that are flown for over twenty years. Any lives carried by FedEx are flown from the airport of origin to the FedEx facility in Memphis, Tennessee for sorting and then flown out by FedEx to the destination airport.
